Preparing your submission

Preparing Your Project

Selected creators will receive full technical specifications and delivery instructions prior to content submission.

In general, creators should have:

|A completed project
|A trailer
|Poster or key artwork
|Ownership of, or permission to use, all content included in your project
|English subtitles where required
|Basic project information including synopsis, runtime and credits
|Festival history, awards or laurels (if applicable)

Rights & terms

You retain ownership

|FilmDeck operates under non-exclusive streaming rights
|You retain full ownership of your film and intellectual property
|Projects may still screen elsewhere unless otherwise agreed
|You may request removal of your project subject to reasonable notice
|Selected creators will receive full licensing details prior to release

|No hate speech, illegal content, or unauthorised copyrighted material
|You must own or have permission to use all content included in your project
|AI-generated or AI-assisted content must be disclosed during submission
|FilmDeck reserves the right to curate and reject content at its discretion

Selected projects from FilmDeck's inaugural launch catalogue may receive exclusive FilmDeck Founding Collection laurels, recognising their place in the platform's first curated slate of independent films.

Audience Choice Award

Outstanding projects may be eligible for the FilmDeck Audience Choice Award, celebrating films that connect strongly with audiences and reflect the discovery-first spirit of FilmDeck.

Laurels and awards are issued at FilmDeck's discretion and may vary depending on selection status, launch timing, category, audience engagement, and platform programming.
